Picnic on the PrairieReturn to 1908 at Usher's Ferry.  After folks leave their church services we will be open 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for a picnic, family fun, children's games, sing-a-long with the old hymns, listen to the local Christian bands, and local youth bands.

Picnic on the Prairie
After your church service, plan to bring your own picnic lunches, blankets, and lawn chairs and enjoy stepping back 100 years for a good old fashioned Christian time of fellowship on the prairie.
Directions to Usher's Ferry -- Exit Interstate-380 at 42nd Street in Cedar Rapids. Go west about 3 miles. Turn south (left) on Seminole Valley Road and travel about 1 mile. Then turn east (left) and travel about 1/3 mile to the front gate of Ushers Ferry Historic Village.
